Get on the bus from New Haven! Protest at Trump’s Inauguration!
VOLUNTEER OUTREACH SESSION THIS SATURDAY, 1/14, 12PM
InaugurateTheResistance
There’s only one week until tens of thousands of progressive people come to Washington, D.C. from across the country to protest at Trump’s inauguration – right on the inaugural parade route. In addition to fighting for – and winning – our right to protest directly on the inauguration route, ANSWER is proud to announce another important victory for right to assemble and protest at Trump’s Inauguration. In addition to the permitted space we recently announced — 14th St. and Pennsylvania Ave (west part of Freedom Plaza) — we now have permits in hand for an even larger gathering site on the parade route, the Navy Memorial (8th St. and Pennsylvania Ave.)

It is critically important that we keep building a larger grassroots movement against war, militarism, racism, anti-immigrant scapegoating and neoliberal capitalism’s assault against workers’ living standards and the environment.

Bus tickets are available from New Haven, Connecticut to the Inauguration Day protest!
The bus to DC will leave at 11:45pm on the night of Thursday, Jan. 19th from New Haven Green at Church St & Chapel St, New Haven. We will return from D.C. the following night and arrive back around 12:30am, Saturday, Jan. 21st. All tickets must be purchased in advance and will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. Tickets are $55 round-trip.

VOLUNTEER OUTREACH SESSION this Saturday, January 14th
On Saturday, join other volunteers to continue getting the word out about the protest at Trump’s inauguration and the mass movement being built against Trump’s far-right government of billionaires and oligarchs. Meet this Saturday, January 14th at 12:00 noon on the New Haven Green at Church St and Chapel St to join a street outreach team to put up posters and distribute flyers promoting the protest!
